Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. As a member of the ALSF Board of Directors, Jeff Kaliner has witnessed first hand the impact this amazing organization has made in fighting Childhood Cancer. Oasis is a proud sponsor of their flagship event, The Lemon Ball, held in Philadelphia every January, in addition to hosting Lemonade Stands during the summer.

Second Chance

Second Chance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides people, materials and the environment with a second chance. We deconstruct buildings and homes, salvage usable materials and make those available to the public through our 200,000 square feet of retail space. With the revenue generated, we provide job training and workforce development for those with employment obstacles in the Baltimore region. Second Chance is a social enterprise with a true triple-bottom-line focus. That means everything we do is: environmentally sound, socially responsible, and financially viable. Our affiliation with Second Chance has been beneficial on several fronts. First, it gives us the opportunity to advance our mission of building GREEN, which subsequently benefits the environment and those around us. Second, it enables us to hire more workers. And most importantly, the revenue generated from our donations of both materials and cash provide job training and support to individuals who really need a second chance.

The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City

The Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City emphasizes positive values in the relationships members have with each other and their adult leaders. We help boys and girls make appropriate and satisfying choices in their physical, eductional, personal, and social lives. We stand by our values of being accepting of all races, religions, and ethnic cultures due to our view on unity positive relationships, & love for one another. Our club programs help to instill good character traits in boys and girls, even those youth in danger of acquiring unacceptable habits and attitudes. When we toured the new after-school facility where Boys and Girls of Atlantic City are kept off the streets and instead having fun (and even doing some learning), we were immediately impressed by the energy in the room. After learning that most of the kids wouldn’t be getting any gifts for Christmas, we hopped into action to make a change; and what a great feeling it was. This year we plan to get the kids involved with job-site training of our own to help teach them real life experiences and perhaps define their future.
